Kak or Yukheh is a traditional pastry and souvenir that is souvenir from Shiraz and Kermanshah cities and is considered as a delicious, high-energy and light food among the people of the region. Name of this pastry in Shiraz is Yokheh, or Kak in Kermanshah.
Although Kak Kermanshah and Yukha Shiraz are very similar, the way of making this pastry in Shiraz and Kermanshah is different and the thickness of each layer in the Shiraz branch is less than Kermanshah Kak.
Kak pastry are very thin layers of dough, which is made using a special Saj(A dish to cook bread). Kak is light, delicious and energetic. Make Kak from wheat flour, sugar, egg, cinnamon, oil, cardamom and water. To make it more delicious and add flavor to this pastry, decorate it with pistachio powder, coconut and almond slices.
